Merge two or more songs or audio clips into a single MP3 with smooth transitions — in your browser, without uploading anything.
A DJ mix for a set, a medley for a video, a continuous album preview or a long background track — sooner or later you need several songs in one file. Here is how to merge them for free, with smooth transitions, in a minute.
Join songs in four steps
- Open the free Join audio tool.
- Add two or more files (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC). They are opened by your browser and never uploaded.
- Put them in order with the arrows and choose the Crossfade length.
- Choose MP3 or WAV and press Download. You get one file.
How long should the crossfade be?
- 0 s — a straight cut, good for spoken parts or tracks that already end in silence.
- 2–4 s — a natural blend for most songs.
- 5–8 s — a DJ-style transition for electronic music in a similar tempo.
For the smoothest DJ-style blend, put tracks with a similar tempo and key next to each other. You can check both with the free BPM and key finder.
Make it a video
A long mix makes a great YouTube video. Press Make a music video from your track under the tool and the joined file opens in the PulSound studio, where it becomes an audio-reactive video in 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts.
Did not work?
Most problems come from the browser or the device, not from your file. The quick fix: use the latest Chrome or Edge on a computer and refresh the page with Ctrl + F5. For everything else — no sound, WebM instead of MP4, iPhone files, slow export, GPU templates showing bars — see If something doesn’t work.
