Terms of use
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms govern your use of PulSound. By using the service you agree to them. Please read them — they are written to be understood, not to hide anything.
1. Who we are
PulSound is operated by [YOUR FULL NAME OR COMPANY], [ADDRESS], [COUNTRY]. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. What the service does
PulSound provides a browser-based tool that generates video from an audio file you supply, and optional pages for publishing your releases. The video generation runs entirely on your own device; your audio file is not transmitted to us.
3. Your account
You may use the studio without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of your personal data, whichever is higher.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the music, artwork and images you use. We claim no ownership over them and no licence to exploit them.
Where you publish content on a release page, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the service. That licence ends when you delete the content.
You confirm that you hold the rights to everything you upload, or have permission from whoever does. Do not publish material you do not have the right to publish.
5. What you may not do
- Upload or publish content that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights.
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexual content involving minors.
- Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' accounts.
- Use automated means to create accounts, or resell access to the service as your own product.
- Remove or obscure the watermark on free exports by editing the file afterwards.
We may suspend or remove accounts and content that breach these rules, generally after warning you where circumstances allow.
6. Videos you export
Videos you export are yours. You may publish, distribute and monetise them, including on advertising-supported platforms. We ask for no credit, though we appreciate it.
Templates, code and visual designs within PulSound itself remain ours and are not licensed for reuse outside exported videos.
7. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you select. Features included in each plan are listed on the pricing page and may be improved over time; if we materially reduce what a plan includes, we will tell you before your next renewal.
Plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Outside that, and beyond any refund required by law, refunds are at our discretion — write to us and explain the situation, and we will be reasonable.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, who may act as merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
8. Availability
We aim to keep PulSound running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided "as is". We may add, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve your content.
Certain functions depend on your browser and device. Some browsers cannot record video, and some cannot convert to MP4. This is a limitation of the browser, not a defect in the service.
9. Availability by country
We may restrict access from particular countries where required by law or sanctions.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using PulSound and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms, or if we cease operating the service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will notify account holders by email or a notice in the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use PulSound after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], and disputes fall to the courts of [CITY, COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence where the law gives you that right.
