5. Make your link page

   One link for your bio with all your platforms, and a pre-save page before the release date. You need a free account for this step.

6. Follow the plan

   Pick your release date and we’ll put dates on every step. Dates are a guide: move them if you need to.

   Release date:
   • Upload the song to your distributor (for example DistroKid, TuneCore or Amuse).
   • Publish your link page and start sharing it.
   • Post the first teaser Short with the best 30 seconds.
   • Last sensible day to pitch to Spotify editors in Spotify for Artists: they ask for at least 7 days. Earlier is better.
   • Post a second Short and remind people of the date.
   • Release day: publish the full video and share your link everywhere.
   • Post a Short with another part of the song.
   • Thank your listeners, add the Canvas and ask them what to release next.
