How it works

Add a file and wait a few seconds. You get the integrated loudness (LUFS), true peak (dBTP) and loudness range, plus how each streaming service will turn your track up or down. To match a service, pick a target and press Download — the track is normalized on your device with the peak kept under −1 dBTP.

What LUFS should my song be for Spotify?

Spotify plays music at about −14 LUFS. A louder master is simply turned down, so mastering much louder gains nothing and costs dynamics. Around −14 to −9 LUFS with a true peak under −1 dBTP is a safe range.

What is true peak and why −1 dBTP?

True peak is the highest level of the real waveform between samples. When a service converts your file to its own format, peaks above −1 dBTP can distort, so most platforms recommend keeping them below that.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed by your own browser. Your music is not sent to our server or anyone else, so the tool is private and works even with very large files.
