1. Recognise speech
The model downloads once and then stays in your browser. Accurate takes longer: on a typical computer, roughly twice the length of the video.
2. Check the text
Speech recognition can make mistakes: read it and fix anything wrong. Tap a time to jump to it.

How it works
Add a video or audio file, choose the language and press Create subtitles. Check the text, pick a style, then save an MP4 or an SRT, VTT or TXT file.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Recognition runs on your device. Only the speech model is downloaded, once, and your file stays with you.
How accurate is it?
Clear speech works well. Noise, loud music, fast talk and singing cause more mistakes, so always read the text before saving. The Accurate model helps most in languages other than English.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed by your own browser. Your music is not sent to our server or anyone else, so the tool is private and works even with very large files.
